Find healthy eats, fireplaces and leather couches at Grace Cafe, the new tenant in City Hall’s courtyard.“The world can be a stressful place,” says owner Chris Brunette. “This is a place for people to relax and unwind.” The pleasant and friendly atmosphere makes Grace a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch or even an afternoon gelato treat, supplied by Nucci’s. Some of the specialties include killer Reuben sandwiches, real fruit smoothies and yummy seasoned baby potatoes, baked in the oven, not fried. They also boast great coffee, wraps and salads. Grace is also doing its part to be eco-conscious, using compostable cutlery and plates. Brunette says he’s enjoying being downtown and loves the space, the people and the downtown experience. He owns another Grace Cafe on Henderson Highway and hopes to open more throughout the city. The cafe is in a great location to serve Red River College students, City Hall employees and other Exchange District workers. The shady patio is a lovely place to relax with a cup of coffee and a good book in summer. The cozy fireplaces are sure to warm hands and souls in the chilly winter months. Grace is located at 510 Main Street and is open from 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday. Call 946-0264 for catering orders or more information. |
