Winnipeg Transit

Winnipeg Transit has a fleet of 640 buses with 48 routes passing through downtown on a daily basis – making the area accessible for everyone by bus.

BLUE Rapid Transit

With a major hub of Balmoral Station at downtown’s University of Winnipeg, Winnipeg’s new Rapid Transit routes provide fast and convenient travel between downtown and southwest Winnipeg.

Please note the Downtown Spirit Routes are no longer in service. In March of 2020, City Council elected to cancel the Downtown Spirit Routes 1, 2 and 3, and they were officially discontinued on September 6, 2020.
