Downtown Living Tour & Exhibition 2009
In 2009, from the newest condos and apartments to revitalized downtown developments, approximately 5000 people came out to the Downtown Living Tour & Exhibition to view exciting new downtown projects, developments and services via 24 Exhibition booths located in the new Manitoba Hydro building downtown and via 11 different sites on the Saturday Open House Bus Tour!

Downtown Living Open House 2007
Based on the previous year’s success, the Downtown BIZ wanted to open the tours up to a larger audience. In 2007, downtown’s doors were opened every Sunday in June for over 3,000 potential condo dwellers to check out six great living spaces. The Downtown Living Open House also showcased some great attractions like the MTS Centre and YMCA-YWCA.

Downtown Living Tours 2006
In 2006, the Downtown BIZ hosted two Downtown Living Tours, where over 100 potential condo buyers and realtors got a taste for the neighbourhood. Three exclusive, sold-out tours took participants to cool condos, The Bay Food Market (it’s bigger than you think!), the YMCA-YWCA, MTS Centre, Millennium Library, and a host of other downtown hot spots.
The tour was a partnership with CentreVenture and the Winnipeg Real Estate Board. Participants were wined and dined as they learned more about the urban lifestyle.
